Easy, Healthy, Delicious: eating well with minimum effort
If you grew up with meat and 3 vegetables, ditching some or all of the animal components means a lot more conscious thinking about how to put meals together that are easy, healthy and delicious. Halfway between pure randomness and rigid meal plans I found a mix'n'match system that works for me. Think of it as a capsule wardrobe for your mouth.
On 4 February I began another behaviour challenge - this time I joined a couple of friends who were going low carb. On 14 February I realised it wasn't working for me so decided to reverse the experiment and go back to my normal diet for the next 10 days.
At first I wasn’t sure - about low carb diets [I’m not a nutritional expert] and about going straight from one challenge to another [nor am I a masochist] so I didn’t commit on February 1.
But then I thought - why not? If you can try something you’re not sure you can do, and you set it up in a way that makes you very likely to succeed, why wouldn’t you? It’s only going to have benefits.
